Marina district hotel

A full-service high-rise hotel in the Marina, with a pool deck and the tram and beach within walking distance.

The Marina is the easiest district to stay in on a first visit: the tram and metro are there, the beach is walkable, and there is somewhere to eat on every corner — which in a city built around driving is worth a great deal.

These are full-service high-rise hotels. Expect a pool deck rather than grounds, a view of other towers from most rooms, and a very short walk to everything.

What stands out

  • Walkable to the tram, the beach and a great deal of food.
  • Full service: a front desk at all hours, room service, a gym and a spa.
  • Step-free throughout, with lifts — unlike most of our Indian properties.

More about Dubai

Dubai is a straightforward destination to arrange and an easy one to get wrong on timing. Between June and September the heat makes anything outdoors impractical for most of the day, and the city is built around that fact — malls, indoor attractions and hotel pools.

Rates swing more sharply here than almost anywhere else we book. The same room can double between a quiet August week and a conference week in November, and the conference calendar is the thing to check before fixing dates.
