Complaints Handling Policy

Report what went wrong. The complaint is logged against a reference, acknowledged, investigated and answered in writing, and every outside right stays open.

Draft for legal review. This document has not yet been reviewed by a qualified legal professional.

How to complain

Write to contact@ccventerprises.com, or ask for a callback and an agent will telephone you. Give your name, the booking reference, an account of what happened and the outcome you are seeking, and attach anything that supports it.

Acknowledgement

Every complaint is logged and acknowledged with a reference number, so its progress can be followed on the record.

The investigation

Someone who took no part in the original booking reads the record and the correspondence on it. Where a carrier had a hand in what happened, the matter is put to the carrier and its answer is passed on to you unedited.

The answer

The answer comes in writing, setting out what was found and what the desk will do. The acknowledgement tells you when to expect it, and where the matter turns on a carrier's reply you are kept informed while that reply is awaited.

Outside bodies

Two routes run outside this desk entirely. The first is the Office of Aviation Consumer Protection at the U.S. Department of Transportation, which takes complaints against a carrier or a ticket agent. The second is the consumer protection office of the attorney general in your own state. Nothing written in this policy narrows either one.

Complaints about the flight itself

Delay, denied boarding, disability assistance at the airport and baggage handling are the carrier's to answer for. On a record held here the desk will direct your complaint to the right place at the carrier, but the decision is the carrier's to make.
