Privacy Policy

The desk records what a flight request needs, passes it on only where the journey requires, never sells it, and will show, correct or delete it on request.

The business behind this notice

CCV Enterprises is the business accountable for the personal information described below, which it holds for the travel desk published at ccventerprises.com. Questions on this notice go to contact@ccventerprises.com.

What goes on the record

A travel record is opened when you send a request, and it holds only what the request and the booking need:

  • Traveler entries — each traveler's full name as it reads on the document they will travel on, date of birth, gender where a carrier or the Transportation Security Administration's Secure Flight program requires it, a Known Traveler or Redress Number if you supply one, and passport details on an international itinerary.
  • Correspondence entries — your email address, the telephone number you give for a callback, and a postal address only where a document has to be mailed.
  • Itinerary entries — routes, dates, confirmation codes, ticket numbers, seat and meal requests, and the messages exchanged on the file.
  • Assistance entries — a mobility or medical need, recorded only because you told the desk, so the request can be passed to the carrier.
  • Payment entries — the amount, the date and whether it cleared. A card number is typed on a payment provider's own secure page and never arrives in this record.
  • Site entries — browser and device type, IP address and the pages opened, described further in the Cookie Policy.

Why each entry is held

The record exists so the desk can:

  • price, book, amend or cancel the journeys you ask about;
  • hand carriers and suppliers what they need to issue and service a ticket, including the data a carrier is obliged to send to a government agency;
  • report back on a request, a confirmation or a schedule change;
  • collect an approved total and pursue a refund;
  • keep the tax, accounting and legal records the law requires; and
  • keep this website running and resistant to abuse.

Marketing email is sent only to a person who asked for it. Each message identifies the sender and carries a working unsubscribe link, as the CAN-SPAM Act requires. Unsubscribing stops marketing and does not stop the messages an open booking depends on.

Who receives an entry

Information leaves the record only where the journey or the law requires it:

  • Carriers, to issue and service the ticket.
  • Reservation systems and suppliers used to search, hold and ticket seats, which may handle booking data only as the desk directs.
  • Payment providers, to process a charge or a refund.
  • Technology vendors hosting the site, the email and the files, under confidentiality terms.
  • Government agencies, where a law compels disclosure.

Personal information is not sold. Optional analytics and advertising tools run only on consent; see the Cookie Policy. Once a carrier or supplier has received an entry, that company's own privacy notice governs what it does next.

International itineraries

On a journey that crosses a border, carriers forward passenger data to the border and security authorities along the route, and the desk has no discretion over that. Some vendors may hold data in another state or outside the United States. In each case only what the booking requires is passed, and only where the law permits it.

How long a record is kept

A record stays open while the journey is live and while any refund or complaint on it is unresolved. After that it is retained for as long as tax, accounting and legal rules require, then deleted or stripped of anything that identifies a traveler.

How a record is protected

A record can be opened only by the staff working on it, and the site is served over encrypted connections. Do not send a card number or a password by email, text message, chat or telephone; no agent here asks for one that way. If you believe a booking detail has been exposed, write to contact@ccventerprises.com immediately.

Rights you can exercise

Depending on your state of residence, and in particular under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you may be entitled to know what personal information is collected and how it is used and shared, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. Exercising any of these changes neither the service you receive nor the price you are quoted.

File a request on the Data Rights Request page or in writing to contact@ccventerprises.com. The switches governing optional cookies sit on the Cookie Preferences page and can be thrown back at any hour.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and in keeping with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act the desk does not knowingly take personal information directly from one. A child's details are supplied by a parent or guardian when the child appears on a booking. If you believe a child has sent information unaccompanied, write to contact@ccventerprises.com and it will be deleted.
