An apartment makes sense for a longer stay, for a family that wants to cook some of its own meals, or for anyone who finds resort breakfast buffets wearing by day four.
You get space, a kitchen and a washing machine, and a shared pool rather than a private one. What you do not get is a restaurant, room service or a front desk at midnight — which is a reasonable trade for a fortnight and a poor one for two nights.

View detailsGoa is really two destinations. The north is busy, cheap and loud, with a beach bar every hundred metres. The south is quieter, more expensive and largely residential, with long empty stretches of sand between the resorts.
We book mostly in the south, because that is what people who ask a desk to arrange Goa usually want. If you want the north, say so plainly and we will quote it — but the two are not interchangeable and a property described as beachfront means something different in each.
