Dubai and Singapore over eight nights
Four nights in the Dubai Marina and four in central Singapore, both chosen for being walkable and well connected.
Two city stops that suit families because almost everything is indoors, air-conditioned and reachable without a car. Dubai for the scale of it; Singapore for how easy it is to move around.
Both are priced heavily by the calendar rather than the season — a trade show in either city can double a room rate for that week. We check the exhibition calendars before fixing dates, and we will tell you if yours falls badly.
Day by day

Arrive in Dubai
Met at the airport and transferred to the Marina hotel. Nothing arranged.

The tall one, and the mall
Timed-entry tickets to the observation deck, then the mall and the aquarium beneath it. Deliberately indoors.

Desert afternoon
A late-afternoon drive into the desert with dinner, returning in the evening. Earlier in the day is too hot to be pleasant.

Nothing arranged
Open. The beach at JBR is a short walk; the old creek and the souks are a metro ride and worth the trip.

Dubai to Singapore
A travel day. Transfer to the airport and fly on; you lose most of the day to it.

Arrive in Singapore
Met at Changi and transferred to the hotel. Nothing arranged for the evening.

The gardens and the bay
The waterfront gardens in the morning and the bay in the evening, both reached by MRT. An eating day as much as a sightseeing one.

Sentosa, or the zoo
A full day on Sentosa for the attractions, or the zoo and the night safari instead. We will book whichever you choose.

Departure
Transfer to Changi, about twenty-five minutes by car.
