Udaipur and Bali over ten nights
Three nights in the Udaipur old town, then a week in a private villa in southern Bali. Indicative quote: ₹61,000 / $735 USD per person.

This pairing works because the two halves are unalike. Udaipur is dense, walkable and full of things to look at; Bali is slow, private and arranged around a pool. Doing them in that order means the sightseeing happens while you still have the appetite for it.
The internal flight is the part to watch. There is no direct routing, so the day between the two halves is genuinely a travel day and we build it in rather than pretending otherwise.
Flights are not included. We quote the land arrangements, and will tell you what the air portion is likely to cost on your dates if you ask.
Day by day
From ₹61,000 (~$735 USD)-
Arrive in Udaipur
Met at the airport and driven to the old town. The last stretch to the door may be on foot. Nothing is planned for the rest of the day.
-
The palace and the lanes
An early start at the City Palace complex before the heat and the queues, then the rest of the day loose. The lanes between the palace and the lake are the point of being here.
-
On the water, and out of town
A boat on the lake in the morning. In the afternoon, either the Jagdish temple and the bazaar on foot, or a car out to Ranakpur for the marble temple — about two and a half hours each way.
-
Udaipur to Bali
A travel day. Transfer to Udaipur airport and fly on, connecting at a hub. Expect to lose the day to it.
-
Arrive in Seminyak
Met at Ngurah Rai and driven to the villa. The drive is short in distance and long in time. Settle in; the first evening is deliberately empty.
-
Nothing arranged
The first full day is unscheduled on purpose. The pool, the beach a few minutes away, and somewhere to eat on the strip in the evening.
-
The west coast beaches
A car for the day down the coast, with time for lunch somewhere along it. The surf is real on this side — swim where other people are swimming.
-
Inland to the terraces
A full-day drive inland to the rice terraces and a temple or two. Long in the car, and worth it once.
-
Nothing arranged
Another open day. Most people spend it at the villa.
-
Last full day
Open. If there is shopping to do, this is the day for it — and the traffic is worst in the late afternoon, so go early.
-
Departure
Transfer to the airport. We allow two hours for a journey of under 20 km, which sounds absurd until you have done it.
